Rabbi Ora Jacobsen
About
Ora Jacobsen is a final-year rabbinical student at HUC-JIR in New York.
Ora's first love is ballet. She earned a BS in Theatre Arts Management from Ithaca College and spent her first career working in performing arts administration Off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, New York Live Arts, and Peridance.
During her time at HUC, she served as the student rabbi at Beth Sholom Temple in Fredericksburg, VA and B’nai Israel in High Point, NC. Ora also completed a summer rabbinic internship at the Unified Jewish Congregation of Baton Rouge. She is currently the pastoral intern at DOROT.
